Vine Campaign for Music Made Me Do It
Background: As part of a branding initiative we created a campaign called Music Made Me Do It. The purpose was to share the moments in life that cause someone to act in particular with music being the catalyst.
Vine Campaign: To get the words out of #MMMDI we reached out to several Vineographers to create original content telling a story about what music made them do while wearing SOL REPUBLIC gear.
Results: We saw over millions of views with great engagement. Unfortunately it did not translate into sales or enough recognition to the brand.
Learnings: In the future it is important to correctly tie the campaign to overall brand of the company. Users who viewed this enjoyed the clip did not get the grasp the affiliation of SOL REPUBLIC being a headphone and speaker company.
